The Senior Recruiter is both hands-on and strategic in function. This role leads to full lifecycle talent acquisition efforts including sourcing, interviewing, and selection for key positions across the organization. The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in identifying and engaging top talent nationwide, with a strong focus on proactive sourcing and recruiting for field leadership and specialized roles.

This position partners closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies, build strong pipelines of passive and active candidates, and improve the overall candidate experience. The Senior Recruiter also contributes to advancing recruiting strategies, tools, and processes that strengthen the organization's ability to attract and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead full lifecycle recruiting for national roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offers.
  • Proactively source and headhunt top talent, building strong pipelines of passive and active candidates
  • Recruit nationally for traveling field leadership and specialized technical roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Ensure positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Utilize recruiting technology and systems for sourcing, applicant tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop and improve recruiting tools, sourcing strategies, and hiring processes.
  • Use recruiting data and market insights to strengthen recruiting effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal and state employment laws.


Qualifications

Required



  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4 plus years of recruiting experience across multiple disciplines and levels
  • Demonstrated success in proactive sourcing and headhunting strategies.
  • Experience recruiting nationally for field-based or traveling roles.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.


Preferred



  • Experience recruiting for field leadership, construction, industrial, or technical roles.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting analytics tools.


Location

This position can be based at any of our office locations, including Sioux Center, IA; Sioux Falls, SD; Omaha, NE; or remotely within the Midwest.

Travel

Up to 25% travel may be required to support recruiting activities, including team meetings, hiring events and occasional visits to jobsites. Travel frequency may vary depending on recruiting needs.
