Salary: $25.00
Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday
Duration: Approximately through September 2026

Focus: Establish and oversee customer order and account management activities to ensure excellent customer service to key Winchester customers and accounts.

Temporary Customer Service Assistant Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for order acceptance within established department guidelines.
  • Daily activities include order entry, editing, confirming, credit approval, and shipping requirements.
  • Manage post invoice adjustments, order follow-up system, and assist in short pay resolution.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Logistics, and other internal departments to provide or obtain information regarding order requirements, credit approval, shipping requirements, and customer support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Temporary Customer Service Assistant Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of related experience in customer order management or fulfillment; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of Winchester symbols, products, programs, pricing, and policies preferred.
  • Knowledge of export regulations preferred.
  • Must possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workload and shift demands, and a willingness to collaborate and support team efforts.

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
