Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) is seeking an accomplished academic leader to serve as Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Dermatology at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. This senior leadership role carries responsibility for the management, administration, and strategic direction of all clinical activities of faculty, residents, and fellows within one of the nation's most respected academic dermatology departments. The Vice Chair will oversee the Department's expanding clinical enterprise while supporting its integrated clinical, educational, and research missions. The Vice Chair will hold an active clinical practice within ColumbiaDoctors, the multi-specialty faculty practice organization of VP&S. ColumbiaDoctors includes more than 2,900 physicians who integrate innovative research with cutting-edge patient care. Working closely with the Department Chair and in alignment with the leadership of Columbia University and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP), the Vice Chair will lead implementation of a comprehensive clinical strategic plan focused on growth of ambulatory services and optimization of operational performance.
