SHIFT SUPERVISOR - CAGE OPERATIONS

Role: The Cage Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Cage Manager in overseeing the successful operation of the Cage, as well as providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
  • Supervise all Cage activities during assigned shift.
  • Perform vault responsibilities; Perform job duties of Cage Cashier & Vault Cashier as needed.
  • Execute monetary transactions for guests.
  • Ensure compliance with internal Controls in all transactions and activities.
  • Accurately complete necessary paperwork associated with the position.


  • Comply with all IRGC rules and regulations, as well as federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Follows Federal, State, and local laws/ regulations in conjunction with property policies, procedures, and Internal Controls.
  • Maintain and secure confidential information.
  • Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.


Qualifications:



  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in high-volume cashiering is required; preferably in casino cage cashiering. Gaming experience is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests.
  • Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
