The Mortgage Customer Service role is an entrylevel customer service role supporting Consumer Direct Lending. Acting as the primary consumer contact, this individual guides customers through the loan origination process after their licensed discussion with a loan officer. Responsibilities * Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls to consumers * Manage inbound and outbound text messages (with consumer consent) * Handle highvolume customer inquiries regarding mortgage loan requests * Effectively manage a pipeline of up to 75 loans * Respond to calls, emails, and chat inquiries from consumers, employees, and authorized third parties * Collaborate with multiple departments to expedite processing and resolve issues Skills * Customer Service * Loan Processing * Encompass & Loan Origination Systems * Call Center Operations * Mortgage Lending & Financial Services Qualifications * Mortgage or financial services call center experience preferred * Bilingual Spanish a plus (not required) * General understanding of Federal, State, and Local mortgage regulations preferred * Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proven ability to deliver accurate information in a fastpaced environment * Negotiation skills with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively * Proficiency with mainstream computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.) Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.
