POSITION TITLE: S pring Grinder LOCATION: Beaver Dam, WI SHIFT: 2 nd Shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm PAY RANGE : $19.00 - $24.00 / hour JOB SUMMARY : Sets up and operates spring grinding machines. Installs and adjusts new grinding wheels. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Places springs into grinder and monitors to obtain a proper grind.. Inspects springs from properly ground ends and checks for desired length. Cleans machines and performs minor maintenance. Assists less experienced operators in selection of tooling and operation of equipment. QU ALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or when necessary on the job training. Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, plant rules and policies, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Prior experience in manufacturing or machining operating/set up environment a plus.
