The Supply Chain Specialist supports advanced manufacturing operations for Keysight's Technology Centers. This role is responsible for endtoend procurement execution, supplier coordination, materials readiness, and issue resolution within complex, lowvolume, highmix manufacturing environments.

This role requires strong judgment, independence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and external suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and rapid resolution of issues impacting production.


Responsibilities

  • Execute purchase requisitions and purchase orders for production materials, tooling, chemicals, packaging, and MRO items across multiple manufacturing centers
  • Manage Min/Max replenishment strategies to ensure adequate availability of manufacturing consumables
  • Support domestic and international sourcing activities, including expedited and nonstandard procurement methods when required to meet production needs
  • Work directly with suppliers to resolve availability, lead time, pricing, quality, and logistics challenges, often under tight timelines
  • Coordinate shipments, special handling requirements, and logistics activities to support critical production schedules and deadlines
  • Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable, invoice matching, credit hold, and payment issues that impede material flow, escalating when standard processes are insufficient
  • Support part transfers between manufacturing sites by ensuring tooling, materials, packaging, and readiness requirements are met
  • Procure and enable specialized manufacturing materials in coordination with Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, and Operations teams
  • Apply structured problemsolving approaches to diagnose supply chain issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Manage and execute work that spans multiple stakeholders and functions, prioritizing tasks, tracking actions, and driving issues to closure
  • Maintain and update shared tracking tools and documentation related to part transfers, material readiness, and procurement status
  • Participate in procurement and supply chain review meetings, providing clear status updates, issue visibility, and followthrough on action items
  • Provide leadership and operational support for critical procurement activities across sites and functions
  • Serve as a trusted partner to planners, buyers, material coordinators, and manufacturing leadership

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles supporting manufacturing operations
  • Strong working knowledge of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, MRO processes, and supplier coordination
  • Experience working in regulated or highcomplexity manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated ability to independently resolve issues across functional boundaries (Operations, Finance, Engineering)
  • Experience applying structured problemsolving and managing work that requires coordination across multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting precision machining, plating, hermetics, or advanced electronics manufacturing
  • Familiarity with international sourcing and logistics
  • Experience navigating Accounts Payable or finance issues that impact supplier payments
  • Advanced Excel skills for tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Prior experience in lowvolume, highmix manufacturing or NPI environments
  • Exposure to formal project management or continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, A3, or similar)

Colorado Pay Range: MIN $98,900- MAX $164,830
