Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an expert Administrator Coordinator to support its La Porte, TX facility.

This role supports the Terminal Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the distribution office by providing administrative, scheduling, and compliance support. The position is responsible for maintaining and entering accurate driver payroll records, ensuring driver files are retained in accordance with required retention periods, and updating all driver documentation in CPSuite.

Responsibilities also include maintaining and updating driver schedules for days off, vacation, flexible holidays, and sick time. In addition, the role supports MyLearning training for distribution employees and assists with planning and coordinating employee engagement events, including the annual Driver of the Year competition and Family Day.

Main Responsibilities:

  • AssistTerminalSupervisor in day-to-day operation of distribution office.
  • Responsible formaintainingand enteringaccuratepayroll records fordrivers.
  • Responsible formaintainingdriver records for required retention periods.
  • Responsible for updating driver documents inCPSuite.
  • Maintain/Updatedistributionsdays off requests,vacation, flexible holiday, and sick schedules.
  • MyLearning trainingsupportwithdistribution employees.
  • Assistin planning and organizing yearlyDriver of the Yearcompetitionand family day.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Expense reporting support withdistributionemployees.
  • Assistwith terminalinvoices.
  • Maintain/updatedistributionfuelcards.
  • Maintain/updatedistributionwork phones(iPhone).
  • Maintain PPE,officesupplies, tools, etc. ordering and organizing.
  • Responsible for operation of office equipment including fax machines, printers, scanners, projectors, etc.
  • Work with IT support personnel to coordinate phone, computer, and related activities.
  • Work in SAP to create requisitions, receive goods and services.
  • Work with purchasing to resolve purchase order quality and payment problems with suppliers and contractorsin a timely manner.
  • Arrange for payment of locally controlled supplier invoices.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Coordinate Corporate Credit card statements.
  • Enter AP invoices inSAPE-Form system.
  • Organize meals for onsitemeetings.
  • Ability to expand role based on capabilities anddemonstratedsuccess.
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communications skills,maintainfree and open communication.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School diploma with at leasttwoyears' experience(industrialand/or distributionexperience preferred).
  • It is imperativeto have strong interpersonal skills and be capable of interacting with a diverse team of people with various backgrounds and interests.
  • SAP experiencerequired.
  • DOT/Hazmat/Tanker/FMCSA regulations and knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated strongproficiencyusing Microsoft Office, computer literacy.
  • High levelof sound and independentjudgment,confidentreasoning,professionaldiscretion,and integrity.
  • Ability to work independentlywith excellenttime management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize taskswithoutsupervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent organizational skills,attention todetailand superior telephone manners.
  • Takesinitiative withresponsiveand positive work attitude.
  • A strongandever-presentsafety focusfor yourself andothersisrequired.
