The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Case Management, the Case Manager oversees the implementation and monitoring of accommodations for faculty, staff, and students involved in the investigative processes. They also assist those who report incidents of misconduct but opt not to participate in an investigation. Collaboration is a key aspect of their role, as case managers regularly engage with various campus offices and colleagues, including the Office of the General Counsel, Columbia University Human Resources, Deans of Students, the Title IX Coordinator, Counseling Services, and others, to ensure effective support for individuals affected by prohibited conduct. Columbia University recently combined its Title IX, Gender Based Misconduct, Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (EOAA), and Office of the Protection of Minors teams into one centralized office. These offices are supervised by the Vice Provost for EOAA. Through the applicable policies and procedures for faculty, staff and students, the University provides means to address discrimination, harassment, sexual and related misconduct, including gender-based harassment, sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, stalking and sexual exploitation. These offices are responsible for ensuring compliance under these policies and with federal, state and local laws regarding Title VI, Title VII and Title IX. Responsibilities
