Pasha Logistics LLC is seeking a Truck Driver / Shop Assistant to support local freight movement while gaining hands-on experience in a transload and truck repair environment. In this dual-role position, you'll combine driving responsibilities with shop support-playing a key role in keeping freight moving while learning valuable mechanical skills that support fleet reliability and operational efficiency. Your Impact: Drive, Support & Keep Operations Moving You will contribute directly to safe, efficient transportation and day-to-day shop operations. Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely transport freight, equipment, and containers locally using Class A CDL. Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate Hours of Service (HOS) logs and follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations. Perform Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR documentation. Handle Equipment Safely: Hook and unhook containers, operate landing gear, connect air and brake hoses, and prepare containers for delivery. Communicate Effectively: Coordinate with dispatch and supervisors to ensure timely routing and updates. Support Shop Operations & Build Mechanical Skills You'll gain hands-on experience while supporting maintenance and transload operations. Assist Mechanics: Support basic repair tasks, tool handling, and parts organization in the shop. Maintain Equipment Readiness: Refuel trucks, check fluid levels, and assist with preventative maintenance activities. Prepare Containers: Open, close, clean, and stage containers for operational use. Support Shop Efficiency: Participate in clean-up, inventory checks, and equipment staging. Learn & Grow: Develop foundational mechanical skills and apply safety procedures in shop and yard environments. What You Bring You are dependable, safety-minded, and ready to contribute both on the road and in the shop.
