The Information Security Engineer is responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems within the organization's IT network. The candidate will work with the IT team to identify and mitigate potential security risks, and ensure the security of the organization's computer networks, systems, and information. He or she will also provide support for security operations, including incident response.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in information technology and cybersecurity principles, demonstrates the ability to implement complex technical changes in enterprise environments, and can clearly communicate security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration, problem-solving, and a risk-based mindset are critical to successfully supporting the organization's security objectives. They should be able to work collaboratively with other departments and leadership to achieve Atlantic Aviation's security goals.

• Maintain, configure, and report on deployment of endpoint protection, email security, network security, and other security and IT tools.
• Troubleshoot and address security and information security tools that are not reporting or operating properly.
• Investigate and address, as necessary, any threats identified by security or infrastructure tools.
• Create and maintain technical solutions for improving the information security of the organization.
• Design and implement security controls to meet or exceed the requirements of any compliance or regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, PCI, NIST, and CIS.
• Collaborate and provide clear communication with SMEs in Infrastructure, Network Support, Application Development, Project delivery, Helpdesk, Corporate Teams, Regional Teams, and Operations.
• Clearly document processes both current and future state, carefully plan out implementations and ensure that the technical SMEs that are implementing clearly understand both the objectives and details of the defined tasks.
