The Regulatory Coordinator will serve as a central point of contact for global regulatory compliance, helping ensure MCC meets evolving legislative requirements and brand owner standards. This role is critical to supporting customer confidence, enabling innovation, and maintaining MCC's leadership in sustainability and compliance.



Key Responsibilities



  • Provide central point of contact for Regulatory inquiries from sales and operations and other customer interfaces for North America and expanding into global scope.


  • Author and manage customer regulatory response letters, surveys, and declarations of compliance (DoCs) for global markets using existing ERP systems and Quality data.
  • Ability to learn and navigate MCC ERP systems to compile reports and pull data as needed.
  • Work closely with MCC's suppliers to obtain and assess raw material compliance data in order to fulfill customer requests


  • Collaborate with product development and technical subject matter experts to provide a documented response to the customer.


  • Maintain and update centralized compliance documentation and vendor onboarding database.
  • Potential to develop and deliver training materials for internal teams (sales, technical, operations) on legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with R&D, Sustainability, Sales, and Operations to support compliance needs of new product introductions and innovation projects.
  • Continuous learning and industry research to stay ahead of regulatory developments



Qualifications



  • Education: Associates degree in Chemistry, Packaging Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field (Bachelors' degree preferred).


  • 2 - 4 years previous experience in Customer Service, Technical Assistant, or similar role required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Packaging background, technical proficiency or regulatory knowledge preferred


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.


  • Strong organizational skills as well as a basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint) and SmartSheets.


  • Limited travel for customer meetings and industry events (5-10%).
