Position Overview

The HR Manager is part of the North American corporate team on-site supporting the Lawrenceville, GA operation. This role works closely with local leaders and employees while partnering with a centralized HR team based in Rochester, NY.

This position is designed for an HR professional who is strong in execution, comfortable handling employee-facing issues, and ready to grow into broader leadership responsibility over time. The role supports a primarily service- and sales-driven employee population, with exposure to operational and manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the on-site HR point of contact for the Lawrenceville location, supporting employees and managers across service, sales, operations, and corporate functions
  • Partner with the Director of HR and the centralized HR team on policies, guidance, and escalated matters
  • Handle day-to-day employee relations matters, including performance management support, investigations, and corrective action
  • Coach managers on basic people leadership skills, feedback, and accountability
  • Support full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles, with a focus on customer-facing and technical positions
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes to ensure consistency and positive employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state (GA) employment laws and internal company policies; coordinate with HR leadership on multi-state or international considerations
  • Support compensation administration, performance reviews, and talent development processes
  • Help implement HR processes that are practical, consistent, and easy to execute in a service- and sales-oriented environment



What You Bring

  • Solid HR generalist experience with exposure to employee relations, recruiting, and compliance
  • Experience supporting service and/or sales organizations in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working in a growing organization where structure continues to evolve
  • Manufacturing or operational exposure is a plus, but not required
  • Courage to handle difficult conversations professionally and escalate appropriately when needed
  • Strong judgment, integrity, and follow-through
  • Willingness to work onsite and engage directly with employees and managers



Qualifications

Required

  • 4-8 years of progressive HR generalist experience
  • Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and HR compliance
  • Experience supporting service- and/or sales-oriented teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle employee issues with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with managers and employees
  • Willingness to work onsite in Lawrenceville, GA



Preferred

  • Experience in a startup, scale-up, or evolving organization
  • Exposure to manufacturing or operational environments
  • Familiarity with multi-state employment considerations
  • Experience working with an HRIS and standard HR reporting tools
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or equivalent practical experience



Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred
