Job Description

We're looking for a detail-driven Quality Inspector to help ensure our products meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. In this role, you'll play a key part in auditing, inspecting, and verifying components, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maintain quality excellence.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday-Monday

Primary Responsibilities
  • Follow and comply with all applicable procedures and quality standards

  • Obtain and maintain Self-Release certification for key customers (e.g., GE, P&W)

  • Perform visual and other inspections to audit parts prior to shipment

  • Verify serial numbers and ensure full traceability using digital systems

  • Collaborate with internal/external auditors and customers

  • Partner with shipping teams to prioritize audit workflow

  • Document non-conformances and communicate findings clearly

  • Work closely with upstream inspectors/operators to resolve issues

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Review and disposition scrap castings and customer returns

  • Prepare scrap materials for revert processing

  • Evaluate rejected parts for rework opportunities

  • Determine appropriate rework methods to restore conformity

  • Coordinate external rework processes and shipments

  • Re-inspect parts to confirm successful rework

  • Accurately record work in Lot Control & AQCS systems

  • Support additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • Experience in visual or quality inspection required

  • 1-3 years of inspection experience preferred

  • Knowledge of inspection methods (FPI, Grain, X-Ray, Dimensional) is a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent visual acuity and color perception

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

  • Ability to manage conflict and work in a team environment

  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications
