Regional Account Manager, Packaging - Southeast (Remote)


Are you a strategic, customerobsessed sales professional energized by growing business, winning new accounts, and shaping market presence? If so, we want to meet you.



We're expanding our footprint in the Southeast Region and looking for a Packaging Sales Specialist to drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and empower a highperforming team of Account Managers. This is a highimpact, highly visible role for someone who thrives in both independent selling and collaborative leadership.



Location: Fully remote - based near a major metro city in the Southeast



Travel: Up to 50%



What You'll Do


As our Packaging Sales Specialist, you'll be the driving force behind sales strategy and regional growth. In this role, you will:



  • Build and execute a strategic sales development plan for the territory.
  • Use market data, trends, and analytics to uncover opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
  • Partner closely with product management, operations, account management, engineering, and new product development teams to win new systems business.
  • Lead, influence, and motivate Account Managers, elevating their RTU selling skills and coaching them to achieve KPIs.
  • Protect and grow existing accounts, while continuously prospecting for new ones.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and sales models that inspire customer confidence and drive decisions.
  • Initiate and quote new items in collaboration with crossfunctional partners.
  • Coordinate multilocation account strategies with other RTU Specialists across regions.
  • Track new business efforts from lead identification through order, delivery, and payment.
  • Efficiently manage CRM pipeline entries, pricing exceptions, T&E, A/R support, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Regularly evaluate market competitiveness, profitability, and customer impact.



What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience
  • Experience in protective packaging or other industrial/distributor product lines
  • Strong background managing distributor, enduser, broker, and vendor relationships
  • Highimpact communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence across teams
  • Comfort working with technical and financial data
  • Analytical mindset, strong computer skills, and the ability to present insights clearly
  • A selfstarter mentality with the drive to win-both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the Southeast
