Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a residential community, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine checks, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document activities, and support residents and guests with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access expectations, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and escalating to appropriate contacts when required.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy issues.
  • Monitor and report suspicious behavior, property damage, hazards, and policy violations, completing detailed reports and incident logs per Allied Universal requirements.
  • Support move-ins, deliveries, and contractor access by verifying authorization, providing directions, and communicating with on-site management and/or local responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
