Travel obsessed? Big tech fan? Hey, you're in good company. If you want to be part of the industry that makes the world go round, then look no further.

Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings- plane, car or hotel. Our technology is used to book that magical holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can't solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we're looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

We're hiring right now for a Senior Product Manager! Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.

How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving product strategy and delivery across a complex, multisided travel technology ecosystem. This role requires strong customer orientation, technical fluency, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead crossfunctional teams in an Agile environment.

Your role in action:

Customer & Market Orientation

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs across travel agencies, suppliers, and developers.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer and validate solutions through customer engagement and feedback loops.
  • Balance agency, supplier, and platform needs in a multisided marketplace.

Technical & Platform Fluency (General & Galileo Host)

Demonstrate strong technical understanding across platform capabilities, including onboarding, authentication, access management, and critical travel industry concepts (NDC, Orders, Ticketing, PNRs, PoS integration).

Additionally, show deep fluency in host-based travel operations and agency servicing workflows, including:

  • Hostbased PNR lifecycle and servicing (creation/modification/commit workflows, segment status behaviors, audit and history awareness).
  • Queueing and operational processes used for schedule changes, fulfillment followups, and postbooking servicing.
  • Ticketing and ancillary document lifecycles (ticket and EMD issuance, exchange/reissue, refund/void) and how document states impact downstream servicing.
  • Operational messaging such as SSR, OSI, and remarks, with an understanding of how data quality affects servicing flows and customer experience.

Agile Product Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead Agile/Lean product delivery models.
  • Prioritize roadmaps and backlogs to maximize customer and commercial impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering, UX, Data, and Commercial teams.
  • Define acceptance criteria and provide featurelevel product acceptance at delivery.

Commercial & DataDriven Decision-Making

  • Use analytics and quantitative reasoning to guide prioritization and product strategy.
  • Track and report product KPIs (activation, adoption, ROAS, API usage, etc.).
  • Ensure product decisions drive revenue, efficiency, and ROI while complying with commercial, security, billing, and regulatory considerations.

Could this be you?

  • Extensive experience with Jira to structure and manage epics, user stories, dependencies, and Agile workflows across distributed engineering teams.
  • Experience in travel industry mandatory /GDS knowledge desired.
  • High proficiency in Confluence as a documentation and knowledgemanagement hub, including PDDs, strategy docs, decision logs, and stakeholderready updates.
  • Ability to leverage Jira and Confluence together to:

    • Translate product strategy into executable delivery plans.
    • Ensure clarity of requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Strengthen collaboration between Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams.
    • Improve transparency, traceability, and delivery predictability at scale.
