Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state, supporting patrol coverage across the site as needed. You will provide strong customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting, while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and interior areas during patrols, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
