As a Security Officer - Healthcare Health Clinic in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government healthcare location supporting vaccine operations, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visibly present to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service, while reporting concerns and coordinating with on-site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical emergency notifications, fire alarms, and access control issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to control the flow of people and vehicles according to site policy.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports, communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and coordinate with local public agencies when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
