From optimizing accounting processes to enhancing the use of financial systems and data, the team helps companies scale efficiently and unlock measurable value. By combining deep finance operations expertise with technologyenabled solutions and handson implementation, the group improves cash flow, strengthens controls, and drives sustainable profitability-delivering results aligned to each fund's valuecreation thesis. What You Will Do: Support delivery of valuecreation initiatives for private equity clients by managing daytoday workstream execution and ensuring highquality deliverables that drive finance and accounting process improvements Translate valuecreation objectives into actionable steps, leveraging strong knowledge of P2P, O2C, and C2R/R2R processes and identifying opportunities to enhance workflows through technology Engage directly with clients, supporting communication, gathering requirements, and providing insights grounded in data and process analysis Perform financial and operational analyses, such as process diagnostics, KPI development, and Excelbased modeling to quantify improvement opportunities Assess and support optimization of financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage) to improve automation, controls, and scalability Review and refine workstream deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client objectives and firm methodologies Contribute to practice development, including building tools, templates, and methodologies that enhance efficiency and delivery quality Assist with business development efforts by supporting proposals, creating analyses for pitches, and identifying followon opportunities within portfolio companies Support the execution and enhancement of monthend close processes, including cashtoaccrual and GAAP conversions for newly acquired or transitioning entities Assist in building and standardizing financial reporting packages, including boardready monthly reporting, KPIs, and forecasting tools Contribute to the development and refinement of financial forecasts, budgets, and longrange models in support of investment thesis execution Prepare management and lenderfocused reporting materials, including technology assessment summaries and futurestate roadmaps, under the guidance of engagement leadership Partner with client finance teams to help implement best practices related to policy adherence, workflow discipline, and crossfunctional collaboration Apply financial reporting and accounting policy knowledge to support the design and documentation of processes and internal controls Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 2+ year(s) of relevant experience in public accounting or industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business CPA License Prior consulting experience Experience with ERP systems #LI-ATL, #LI-OAK, #LI-CHI, #LI-CLTSP, #LI-NYC, #LI-DFW #LI-CH2 About Forvis Mazars, LLP Forvis Mazars, LLP is an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, a leading global professional services network. New York City Pay Transparency Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. New York Salary Range: NY Minimum Salary (USD) $ 85,600 NY Maximum Salary (USD) $ 142,600 Illinois Wage Transparency Pursuant to Illinois' Equal Pay Act, the salary range displayed is for the Illinois market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Non-exempt/hourly positions will be eligible for time and half pay for employees that work over 40 hours in a workweek. Benefits are eligibility-based and could include group health plan benefits, 401(K), bonuses, profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
