Plumbing Helper - Commercial Construction

We are seeking a Plumbing Helper to assist licensed plumbers and apprentices on commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the plumbing trade and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, safety-driven construction environment.

• Assist plumbers with installation of plumbing systems on commercial job sites

• Load, unload, and stage plumbing materials, tools, and equipment

• Measure, cut, assemble, and support installation of pipe (PVC, copper, cast iron, steel)

• Support rough-in and trim-out activities under supervision

• Help with setting fixtures, hangers, supports, and pipe sleeves

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Use basic hand and power tools safely and correctly

• Follow all company policies, job site rules, and safety procedures

• Perform general labor and other duties as assigned

• Previous construction or plumbing experience preferred, not required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day

• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and in varying job site conditions

• Willingness to learn plumbing skills and follow direction

• Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus

• Reliable transportation to job sites

• OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain

• Trade school coursework or enrollment in a plumbing apprenticeship

• Experience on commercial construction sites

• Familiarity with rough-in, underground, or above-ceiling piping

• Exposure to commercial plumbing systems and fixtures

• Active commercial construction sites

• Standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting required

• PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots)
