We are looking for an experienced Lending Operations Project Manager to join our team in Houston, TX.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts.
  • Manages specific department/division projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare action plans, including resources, timeframes and reporting/data analysis for projects as needed.
  • Responsible to organize work through planned tasks to ensure project objectives are met on time, within scope and delivering anticipated value.
  • Establishes and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, adhere to high quality standards and meet department/division/customer expectations.
  • Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments.
  • Manage projects through entire life cycle from initiation through closing.
  • May direct and monitor work efforts on a daily basis.
  • Identifies resource needs, performs quality reviews and escalates functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately.
  • Responsible for tracking costs/budgets, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the department/division/customers.
  • Coordinates communication with all areas that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
  • Designs, implements, evaluates and audits project management processes and templates.
  • May work closely with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure project completion.
  • Support manager with tasks related to lending and portfolio management initiatives and processes.
  • Publish and maintaining guidance documents.
  • Publish and maintaining internal website(s) for teams.
  • Facilities specific, recurring processes (ex. quality control reviews, lending authority requests).
  • Report generation and/or utilize for leaders and users' ability to manage to expected data and/or policy requirements (ex. exceptions).
  • Data integrity review and/or handling of error clearing processes within systems.
  • Will need to learn and utilize internal lending systems, reporting platforms, and other technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related degree and 2+ years experience in project management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and changes management practices and techniques or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Working knowledge of project management, including methodologies, processes, tools, scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management.
  • Knowledge of department processes, procedures and applications.
  • Experience in solution identification and assessment and creation of business and financial case.
  • Must have solid leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, schedules and budgeted costs.
  • Solid negotiation and facilitation abilities.
