Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a dedicated Radiologic Imaging Clinical Supervisor (Xray) to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Day Shift, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation assistance eligible.

Radiologic Imaging Clinical Supervisor (Xray) Job Responsibilities:

  • The Radiologic Imaging Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

  • This role requires a deep understanding of imaging principles and techniques, with a focus on establishing and maintaining quality standards.

  • The supervisor demonstrates strong leadership, independent judgment, and a commitment to continuous professional development and technological advancement.

  • Key responsibilities include managing departmental performance improvement initiatives, optimizing operational efficiency, and effectively utilizing budgetary resources within assigned areas.

  • Assists in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures, including but not limited to quality assurance/control programs.

  • Resolves physician complaints regarding clinical performance.

  • May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree in Radiography

  • License: American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certified as a Radiologic Technologist upon start

  • Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association upon start

  • Experience: Five years of Diagnostic X-ray experience in a hospital/healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Three years of lead or supervisor experience in a hospital environment is preferred
