The Associate Salesforce Development Engineer will work with others in the division to support and maintain Salesforce applications that meet our business needs. You will assist in the development and implementation of solutions within the Salesforce platform, learning best practices and gaining experience with Salesforce technologies. You will report to the Sr. Engineering Manager.

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications. Participate in project activities, learning to estimate resource and skill requirements, and gaining exposure to Salesforce technologies.

  • Requirements Analysis: Work with team members to understand system specifications and business requirements related to Salesforce. Help translate these into technical tasks and contribute to system design discussions.

  • Development: Use basic Salesforce development skills to implement features and resolve issues. Learn to create solutions that improve business processes and user experiences.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with partners and the development team to validate design decisions. Follow guidance from senior team members and learn Salesforce development best practices.

  • Quality Assurance: Participate in testing activities, such as unit and integration testing, to ensure quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions. Take part in code reviews and learn from feedback.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about new Salesforce features and capabilities. Participate in team improvement initiatives and training opportunities.

  • AI Based Interactions: Support the implementation of AI-based interactions within Salesforce and learn about the Agentforce platform.

Specialized Skills Requirements

  • Some experience or coursework in Salesforce development, including exposure to custom solutions and Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), platform services (e.g., Force.com, Lightning Platform), or AI-based interactions.

  • Willingness to learn from more experienced staff and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Basic understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Interest in developing scalable and maintainable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Familiarity with integration concepts and APIs is a plus.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder) or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot software issues within the Salesforce environment.

  • Good communication skills; able to share updates and work collaboratively with team members and partners.
