CRNA (Part-Time)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a Part-Time CRNA to the Anesthesiology group atNYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Department of Anesthesia handles over 5,500 cases annually and averages about 480 cases per month as a Level I Trauma Center. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation withSUNY Downstate Health Sciences Universityto maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Formulation of an anesthetic plan in conjunction with the Attending Anesthesiologist, based on individual patient needs.
• Provision of anesthesia services to all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Induction of general anesthesia using accepted methods, based on the anesthetic plan, and in accordance with the prescription of an Attending Anesthesiologist.

• Current NYS RN License and Registration, BSN, and MSN.
• Board Certification by the NBCRNA required within the first year of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist School.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,250* - $136,500* (based on years of licensure) based on 21-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $243,175** and $248,950** (based on years of licensure), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $98,800***.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
