Description

    Performing diagnostic evaluations and repairs on complex mechanical and electronic systems to ensure optimal performance and readiness
  • Conducting routine and corrective maintenance operations following established technical manuals and schematics
  • Preparing detailed maintenance records, test results, and corrective actions to support performance tracking and compliance requirements
  • Collaborating with senior engineers to implement upgrades and system improvements while adhering to DoD standards
  • Providing training and technical support to junior technicians during system integrations and operational testing

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in an engineering technician role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to perform intermediate-level engineering tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and testing of mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with DoD specifications
  • Proficient in using advanced diagnostic tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) to identify and resolve system malfunctions
  • Skilled in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for system troubleshooting and repair
  • Possess an active DoD secret security clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks to assist in system modifications and upgrades
  • Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies to enhance maintenance workflows
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and document system data, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support during system installations and upgrades
  • Relevant military experience

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
