The Staffing Supervisor II is responsible for being the lead and primary support for the staffing team, including implementation of processes, tool deployment, culture, and accountability. The Staffing Supervisor II is responsible for ensuring there is welcoming, supportive experience for our caregivers from time of interview to their orientation, as well as their overall experience as an employee of Lifespark. This role implements schedules that meet client care needs and understands budget expectations to assist the department meet financial goals. The Staffing Supervisor II must be a detail-oriented individual who understands the time-sensitive demands and critical nature of the role. Position: Staffing Supervisor II for Community Home Care Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience Service Area: Lifespark Corporate Office, St. Louis Park 55416. Hybrid schedule after training. Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Full - Time / Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (weekend rotation as needed, and holiday rotation is 1-2 per year, on-call rotation as needed; MOD) Lifespark Benefits Include:

Position Functions & Responsibilities:
- Acts as the staffing department lead and primary support for Staffing Supervisors
- Provides ongoing support, coaching, and mentoring for Staffing Supervisors
- Implement established staffing patterns and schedules that meet client care needs and financial goals
- Ensures adequate in-office coverage and act as a back-up to the Staffing Supervisor(s) as needed
- Ensures policies, procedures, and best practices are implemented by Staffing Supervisors to caregiving workforce
- Actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Conducts candidate screening and in-person interviews.
- Ensure completion of necessary new hire paperwork.
- Responsible to keep average caregiver wage in line with current standard.
- Ensure all caregivers meet regulatory requirements including orientation, skill competencies, in-service/education, TB, Hepatitis B, background checks, DMV, I-9 and all other applicable regulations AND proof is documented in the personnel record.
- Conducts new hire orientation in collaboration with designated Registered Nurse
- Administration of Learning Management System for caregivers
- Ensure caregiver understanding of, and accountability to, Lifespark policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide real-time Caregiver coaching/mentoring through a combination of telephonic and in-person touch points.
- Conduct Caregiver annual reviews.
- Regularly apply the People Analyzer to caregiving team members to evaluate alignment with company core values and fit for position.
- Follow Lifespark recognition programs to encourage and reward great performance.
- Communicate Caregiver resignations and terminations per Lifespark best practice.
- Organize and facilitate regular Caregiver meetings and events.
- Communicate, reinforce, and hold Caregivers accountable to Lifespark's call-in protocol and expectations.
- Maintains personnel/electronic files including tracking expired credentials (driver's license, auto insurance, and other applicable documents)
- Scheduling
- Collaborate with RN Case Manager to provide the right-fit caregiver for every client.
- Maintain consistent schedules with sufficient flexibility to ensure every shift is staffed with the right-fit caregiver.
- Communicate and confirm all scheduling changes to clients and employees proactively.
- Inform RN Case Manager of any scheduling conflicts or concerns.
- Problem solves to ensure all call-offs and special requests are staffed.
- Adhere to the "No Shift Goes Unstaffed" Promise
- Follows standard work process to track employee availability and call offs.
- Adjusts caregiver schedule times as needed to ensure accurate billing and payroll.
- Participate in Lifespark's Event Management process including initiating reports, escalation of events and investigations.
- Report worker injuries per protocol and promote Lifespark's return to work program to prevent lost time.
- Plays a key role in delivering the Lifespark Experience
- Establish rapport with all caregivers and clients/family members through phone calls and home visits
- Perform introductory calls to new clients and staffing contacts.
- Follows up on all calls, emails from caregivers, and clients/family members.
- Follows Lifespark's Service Recovery practice as needed to handle complaints and serious issues.
- Manages Caregiver labor costs.
- Seek approval for overtime only as last resort.
- Seek approval for incentives only as a last resort.
- Assists with achieving Gross Profit Margin targets by understanding GPM drivers (census, billable hours, services provided, service guarantees, and overtime)
- Understands billing rates and packages and seeks opportunities to expand offerings
- Manages staffing and MOD schedule
- Participate in on-call program rotation.
- Participate in weekend coverage as needed.
- Tracks staffing metrics

Qualifications: Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Healthcare, Staffing, Medical Administration, or similar position required.
- Must be proficient with technology and technological applications: Microsoft Office, Smart Phone, Calendaring, Wi-Fi, EMR, Internet Browsing, Printer
