The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is accepting applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Director for Compliance. The Assistant/Associate Director for Compliance is responsible for work required to comply with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations. The incumbent provides pertinent and timely compliance information to various internal and external constituencies, responding to questions and interpreting regulations when necessary. The incumbent will also assist with other compliance duties that support the overall objectives of the compliance program. The Assistant/Associate Director for Compliance routinely analyzes situations, provides interpretation, identifies recommendations, initiates action, and provides guidance on all matters pertaining to their duties. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree. 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: At least two years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Education: Juris Doctor or Relevant Master's Degree About the Position: The anticipated hiring range is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
