The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Product Development Data Science Department Summary This role is based in Data Management, a core function within Product Development Data Sciences (PDD). We lead the industry in speed and efficiency by developing tools, automation, and adopting cutting-edge technologies that streamline clinical trial data collection and delivery. Specifically, you will join the Technical Excellence group, where we work at the intersection of technology, process, and user experience to ensure our systems are regulatory-ready and fit-for-purpose. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The Opportunity As a Technical Specialist of Data Science, you will apply data engineering skills to translate complex process needs into tangible technical solutions. You will help shape digital capabilities that enable high-quality, efficient clinical data management. Your main responsibilities:

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $45.00 - $50.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
