Summary:
Responsible for assisting in daily human resources duties and maintaining specific human resource records including, but not limited to, Personnel Records, Turnover and Transfers/Promotions

Responsibilities:
* Act as a resource to all co-workers
* Assist in monitoring and supporting company policies and procedures and federal/state regulations including, but not limited to, FMLA, ADA, sexual harassment investigations, etc.
* Perform new co-worker orientations and set up new co-workers; Includes card access duties for new and existing co-workers
* Conduct exit interviews with staff to determine if corrective actions may retain valued staff and forward findings to Human Resource Management
* Maintain and assist in developing various reports in the HR Department
* Administer the Service Award Program
* Assist with community events and employee events (company picnic, etc.)
* Assist with recruiting functions
* Schedule interviews and maintain applicant records
* Submit reference, education and background checks
* Assist with the organization and attend job fairs when required
* Maintain coworker files and other HR records
* Support the Affirmative Action Program
* Assist with updating role overviews
* Perform department audits
* May travel to other sites as necessary.

Other information:
* High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of Human Resource experience preferred;
* 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
* Demonstrate confidentiality
* Demonstrate effective communication, both written and verbal
* Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
* Ability to work weekends and off-shifts, as needed
* Demonstrate basic knowledge of federal and state employment regulations

Education:

* High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of Human Resource experience preferred

Geographical Location: Minnesota:Rochester

Physical Location: Rochester, MN

Shift: Shift 1

Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1630

Full Time

Compensation Range: $19.21 to $24.01 USD Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.

Benefits and Other Compensation: Benchmark provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a Bonus Plan, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, all based on scheduled hours. Benchmark complies with applicable state and local employee leave laws.
