Technical Assistance Lead

Your Impact

As the Technical Assistance Lead you will co-develop the design and lead the delivery of regional technical-assistance initiatives-providing on-site support across multiple locales, including training facilitation, coaching and relationship management, ensuring model fidelity, and building local capacity. You will inform and implement strategy design with the Manager and colleagues within the Strategic Growth Department, escalate priorities to the Senior Director, and be prepared to travel or relocate for extended field assignments as needed, in service of Fountain House's strategic plan.

As Technical Assistance Lead, you will:

• Act as regional TA lead: operationalize scalable technical assistance plans across regions, adapting to local contexts and partner needs.
• Serve as the primary in-field resource: Conduct site readiness assessments, deliver hands-on coaching, and embed best practice trainings on-site, in conjunction with the Fountain House training team.
• Field Deployment & Mobility: Provide sustained, on-site presence at partner locations- traveling frequently (up to 75% travel) to ensure effective implementation.
• Build trust and rapport with local clubhouse leadership, staff, and members through immersive, in-person engagement.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate laterally with the Strategic Growth Department on regional strategy, stakeholder alignment, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with regional partners to coordinate training, share toolkits, and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• Budget Stewardship: Liaise with the Strategic Growth Dept. to manage allocated regional TA budgets, optimizing the mix of in-house and contracted resources to maximize impact and cost-effectiveness.
• Contribute to the Technical Assistance portfolio by drafting briefs & blogs to disseminate lessons learned and best practices.

Who you are

• Demonstrated ability to translate model standards into practical, locally adapted practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, motivating and engaging communication, and facilitation skills.
• Solution-oriented problem-solver and creative thinker.
• Comfort with task management programs, portals, and databases.
• The ability to live and work in various sites for extended periods and travel frequently .

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, public administration, organizational development, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-5 years of progressive experience delivering technical assistance, field operations, or program implementation in multi-site contexts (preferably in behavioral health, social services, or related sectors).
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly and drive change in diverse environments.
• Knowledge/Experience in the clubhouse model or community-based models preferred.
