Job Overview
The Director of Plant Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily functions and strategic management of the hospital. This position requires a dynamic leader with strong operational expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will ensure that production processes are efficient, safety standards are maintained, and organizational goals are achieved. This role offers an opportunity to influence company growth and operational excellence in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Duties

  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to optimize plant performance.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage plant staff to ensure high levels of productivity, safety, and quality.
  • Oversee production schedules, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to meet customer demands.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee procurement activities related to plant operations.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all departments within the plant.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Proven experience in hospital or industrial operations management, ideally in a leadership role such as Plant Manager or Operations Director.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with staff, suppliers, and executive leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration or a related field; this position is integral to maintaining operational excellence within the organization while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
