Account Executive- GovEd

About the Role
The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers and partners with the objective of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. This role plays a key part in driving pipeline growth, managing accounts strategically, and delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales process.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's what you'll do.
Develop a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed quota, including the identification and prioritization of opportunities for assigned existing or potential customers and partners.
- Proactively initiate contact with potential customers, customers, and partners to develop, maintain, and expand business relationships.
- Partner with sales solution engineers to develop and deliver compelling software demonstrations for customers and prospects.
- Develop and communicate accurate, real-time sales forecasting and maintain all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, and meaningful interactions.
- Develop the closing plan for accounts and engage internal leadership to lead negotiation and contracting processes, ensuring deals are closed on time and as forecasted.
- Attend and actively contribute to trade shows and marketing events, ensuring customers and prospects are engaged with company marketing efforts.
Role Essentials
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience as an Account Manager with demonstrated knowledge of sales in relevant technology solutions or an assigned industry
- Proficiency with opportunity management and account planning tools, as well as
- Microsoft Windows and Office
- Strong ability to establish rapport, build trust, and collaborate effectively within teams and across functional areas
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and proven negotiating and influencing abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as required

Pay Transparency
Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are provided to comply with relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $92,000 - $139,000 and eligible for benefits.
