Title: Material Handler Job Code: 315304 Department: Materials The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment and ensures correct delivery and shipment of materials. Duties and Responsibilities * Perform work within takt/cycle time * Perform work per work instructions * Provide and process movement of material to point of use * Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat * Inform proper personnel of material shortage * Check in and place materials from other cells * Operate forklift * Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area * Practice 5Ss Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints * Basic math skills * Knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu * Certified forklift operator Education and Experience Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * Experience in material handling Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
