Lead Alarm Technician - Austin, TX (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Austin, TX (On-site) Start Date: January 11, 2026 Duration: 6 Months (Contract-to-Hire) Pay: $30-$35/hr About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Alarm Technician to join a growing team in Amarillo, TX. This position involves leading a crew of technicians, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring successful installation and maintenance of commercial security systems. Responsibilities: * Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarms). * Program commercial alarm systems and work independently on installations. * Coordinate with Project Managers and technicians for scheduling and documentation. * Provide system operation training to customers. Required Skills & Experience * 2+ years programming commercial alarm systems. * Ability to install and service systems independently. * Experience with IP/Analog cameras, access control panels, intrusion panels, mag locks, and door strikes. * Proficient in reading blueprints. * Active Texas Alarm Install License. * Leadership experience managing tech crews. Additional Requirements * Must have PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, vest. * Reliable transportation. * Drug test required. Why Join Us?
