SharePoint Developer The SharePoint Developer works with a dynamic SharePoint Collaboration Team for 100% on-site work at McDill AFB, FL. This position manages classified and unclassified Department of Defense SharePoint environments for the Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE). Responsible for configuring, managing, and when necessary, migrating SharePoint platforms across Department of Defense NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS domains. Develop and maintain detailed and complex SharePoint capabilities that meet user(s) functional objectives. Upgrade or replace capabilities as needed to meet changing needs and performance requirements. Provide training and support to users on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Bi capabilities. Serves as primary onsite technical Tiers 1 and 2 support and trainer for SharePoint Online operations for users, content managers, and supporting administrators. Works as the SharePoint lead to apply strong technical SharePoint knowledge in support of the JCSE user community. Responsibilities:
- Use Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in creation of and maintenance of Power Apps custom capabilities.
- Manage data structure and formats that Power Apps use to reduce duplication of manual entry.
- Add users, control access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint Online issues or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Power Platform issues or malfunctions for multiple Power Apps, Power Bi, and Power Automate.
- Provide Power Platform support and training for end user(s).
- Maintain developed SharePoint capabilities and performing version updates and upgrades.
- Create SharePoint user guides, "how-to", FAQs, and technical papers.
- Update Internal Ticket system with details, notes, and tasks in role of providing customer service to users in global locations and with varied experience with SharePoint.
- Provide SharePoint support to customers on Out-of-the-box features for Modern SharePoint Online sites, pages, document libraries, and lists.
- Provide content management training to users on how they can use Out-of-the-box features and update their content.
- Manage creation, modification, and deletion of SharePoint Online sites and their respective connection to HUB site(s).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Active SECRET clearance.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a SharePoint Developer within Microsoft 365.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in Power Apps development.
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems (O365) suite.
- Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong customer service skills with experience in providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of working in DoD environment
- Knowledge of database structure and how two or more pieces of data relate to each other.
