As a Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrols in Troy, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at an aerospace and defense location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols for an aerospace and defense environment.
• Report and document security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related threats or emergencies specific to an armed patrol post in an aerospace and defense setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
