Description

    Acting as a Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Providing support to the CSRR Multi-Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) team
  • Providing technical support of the Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) and components
  • Preparing test documentation and reviewing/revising existing CSRR MRTS documentation
  • Providing on-the-job training (OJT) to Navy Instructors after completion of MRTS software installations

Requirements

  • Five (5) years experience required
  • Ability to create requirements from CSRR technical documentation to usable artifacts for developers to use
  • Ability to create curriculum for future CSRR MRTS courses
  • Willing and able to travel to submarine home ports for software installations


Desired Skills

  • Ten (10) years experience desired
  • Prior military experience as ITSX on submarines (at least 5 years of experience)
  • Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) experience (at least 5 years of experience)
  • Multi-Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) experience (at least 5 years of experience)
  • Security+ certification (may obtain within first few months of employment)
  • CSRR operator and maintenance school completion
  • External Communications System (ECS) Grooms experience
  • CSRR Multi-Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot network and computer issues in a networked environment


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY

  • 15 to 25% travel
