As a Security Officer - Access Control Monitor in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a food and beverage production environment.
  • Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response guidelines as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity or conditions.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
  • Assist with the implementation of visitor management procedures, including verifying credentials and issuing badges where applicable.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing information and assistance as requested, while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
