As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Patrol in Downtown Manhattan, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and professional demeanor. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with access control and maintaining a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
