As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
• Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access procedures and directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
