As a Security Officer - Telecom Campus Patrol in Playa Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with a focus on the needs of a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity within the location.
• Document incidents and maintain detailed records as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or local authorities as needed.
• Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
