Psych Tech

D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule, Holidays, Weekends, On Call, Call back per unit needs. 36 hrs (may consider 48).

We are seeking a compassionate team player to be involved in direct care and clinical services for in-patient psychiatric patients on an individual basis. Responsibilities include activities such as daily living, social, and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN. The candidate must communicate effectively with patients and ensure they have access to required services, as well as inform the RN of any patient changes. Participation in rounds and group therapy is also needed.

• 2 years of recent experience.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• AAS degree in psychology or sociology required.
• CPI certification required - preferred blue card, must include hands-on training.

• 2 years of experience as a psych tech - Required
• BLS certification - Required
• Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology - Required
• CPI certification - blue card preferred, must include hands-on training - Required
