Maintenance Technician

STS Technical Services is hiring Maintenance Technicians in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will support machining maintenance in a CNC environment while helping keep production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a hands on maintenance position for technicians with at least two years of CNC machine maintenance experience.

• Maintain various CNC machines, powder coating lines, welding cells, and other production equipment
  
• Maintain asset reliability to a high standard
  
• Use a CMMS to enable efficient maintenance and repair operations
  
• Perform equipment lubrication, filter changes, and standard preventative maintenance
  
• Troubleshoot equipment in machine breakdown situations
  
• Identify and report any faults or damage to machines, guarding, or tooling
  
• Work closely with machine operators to identify potential issues prior to failure
  
• Utilize safe work practices at all times
  

• Computer literate
  
• Manufacturing experience
  
• Able to read blueprints and schematics
  
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
  
• Highly motivated and dependable
  
• Able to communicate and work well with others
  
• Must pass a competency test and pre employment physical, including drug screen
  
• Two or more years of experience with machine maintenance in a CNC environment
  
• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication is a plus
  
• Experience troubleshooting, dismantling, and repairing a variety of machinery, including CNC equipment
  
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints, schematics, and documentation
