Palo Verde Behavioral Health is looking for a Coordinator, Risk Management.

The Coordinator of Risk Management supports the healthcare organization's efforts to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors while driving clinical and operational quality improvement initiatives. This role reports to the Director, Risk and Performance Improvement and assists with the identification, evaluation, and reduction of patient safety risks, ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and helps facilitate performance improvement activities that advance patient outcomes, clinical effectiveness, and organizational excellence. The Coordinator of Risk Management plays a vital role in elevating patient safety, improving clinical performance, reducing organizational risk, and supporting high-quality care across the continuum.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Education: High School graduation or equivalent required; Associates' or Bachelors' Degree, preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Knowlege of risk management, patient safety, and quality improvement preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITON:

Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest x-ray every 4 years thereafter.

Must obtain and maintain a Class 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance
