The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Translational Medicine, Ophthalmology Biomarker Development Department Summary The Translational Medicine OMNI Biomarker Development department at Genentech provides translational science support to inform the clinical development of novel personalized therapeutics in disease areas of Ophthalmology, Metabolism, Neuroscience, Immunology and Infectious Diseases (OMNI). Our biomarker strategies are designed to study the molecular pathways driving the disease and to establish the mechanism of action of our therapeutics. We focus on prognostic, predictive and pharmacodynamic biomarkers to enable our vision of "the right drug for the right patient at the right dose." This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on site. The Opportunity

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of California is $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
