Description Acara Solutions is hiring a PCB Assembler for our client in Beverely, MA
23-28/hr, DOE.
The individual will be working on complex electrical and mechanical assemblies. Duties include working from production assembly drawings, schematics, part lists, wiring diagrams and following verbal instructions. Will perform soldering on surface mount and through-hole components by using a microscope, along with mechanical assembly using pliers, wire strippers, torque wrenches and other mechanical tools that are required. Conformal coating of PCB's. The ability to check own work for conformance to workmanship standards and inspection criteria. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and be responsible for a clean and safe work area. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have 3+ years' experience of electrical and mechanical assembly Must be able to read and understand prints, schematics, parts lists, wiring diagrams, polarities, color codes, etc. Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification desirable
Ability to work with engineering on prototypes, mark-ups, and complex electro-mechanical assemblies This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR.
