Brief Description of the Work:

Global InfoTek, Inc. is looking for a DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to join our team to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This opportunity will help build and shape the Air Force organization where customers are their top priority.

Required Skills:

• A deep understanding for agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for implementations.
• Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications.
• Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Capable of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications.
• Experience with cloud systems and architectures (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure).
• Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc).
• Extensive experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Jenkins, Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Experience configuring and using CI/CD automated pipelines, such as Jenkins

Desired Skills:

• Familiar with microservice architectures (REST, JMS, AMQP).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Istio.

Relevant Certifications:

• Certifications in Cloud Engineering, (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect - Associate; Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals; Google Associate Cloud Engineer; IBM Certified Technical Advocate - Cloud; Cloud Security Alliance: Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK); Professional Cloud Architect (PCA); Professional Cloud Developer (PCD); Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer (PCDOE); Professional Cloud Security Engineer (PCSE); CompTIA Cloud+).
