* Lead and manage facility safety programs to maintain OSHA and regulatory compliance. * Maintain safety records, document incidents, and prepare materials for audits. * Oversee daily facility operations, including building security, fire safety, and equipment upkeep. * Coordinate HVAC, electrical, janitorial, and other contractors to ensure compliant and safe work. * Inspect and maintain safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and First Aid Kits. * Support facility enhancements, renovations, and safe material handling practices. * Ensure compliance with local building codes, internal safety standards, and regulatory requirements. * Perform physical inspections throughout the facility and assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed. What You'll Need to Succeed * 2+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility. * Strong understanding of OSHA standards, local building codes, and general safety regulations. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform facility inspections across the building. * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in basic computer programs (Word, Excel). * Ability to coordinate contractors and manage safety documentation. * Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during an 8-hour shift; desk work included. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in facilities project management. * Experience leading safety committees or driving safety initiatives.
