RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for managing and controlling project costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects stay within budget and meet deadlines.
- Developing detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other resources.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure cost control and efficient resource allocation.
- Analyze and select appropriate packaging that protects the product, meets marketing goals, and aligns with sustainability objectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging aligns with product development, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain goals.
- Provide packaging information of current or future products into customer web portals.
- Responsible for applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.
- Assist the Process Line Manager in the development of capital and expense budgets.
- Evaluate new products and make recommendations related to manufacturing feasibility.
- Follow up on Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) as applicable
- Estimate production rates, setup and tooling cost for inquiry and new part setup.
- May be given certain authority within job scope by Manager
- Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent a violation of the Tenneco Integrity Policy.
- All employees will abide by the plant's safety policy, comply with the legal and other requirements and operational controls established, work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform to procedures consistent with the ISO 14001 standard. An employee should report, and if necessary stop, any activity that does not conform to the policy or may injure himself/herself.
- Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
- Responsible for ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Handle/store hazardous waste in a complaint manner with all federal, state, and local regulations.

EDUCATION:
|
Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university in a related engineering field; or 5 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CQI-12 Coating - The qualifications shall include a minimum of 5 years experience in surface finishing operation or a combination of a minimum of 5 years of relevant formal education and surface finishing experience. CQI-15 Welding - To ensure readily available expertise, there shall be a dedicated, qualified and full time welding person on site. This individual shall be one of the following: 1. Degreed Welding Engineer, or equivalent science degree. 2. Certified Welding Inspector from approved internationally recognized organization. 3. A minimum of 5 years experience in welding operations or a combination of a minimum of 5 years of formal metallurgical education and welding experience. CQI-30 Mix and Molding - Assessor shall possess rubber mixing and molding process knowledge. Evidence shall include a minimum of 5 years of applied industry experience or a combination of formal engineering education and molding experience totaling a minimum of 5 years.
